Anniversary Giveaway #2: SweetArt Cupcake Giveaway (Local)

One of the things that we were picky about at our wedding was our wedding cake. We wanted it to be excellent, and neither of us is a huge cake fan. But we found a lady that did a great job and we were so proud of the way both of our cakes looked and tasted. Unfortunately, the last time I tried to find her, I ran into a dead end. Apparently, she is out of business.

Recently, though, I found a local baker who does every bit as good a job if not better.

SweetArt Bakery is located in the old flour mill just outside of downtown McKinney. I love her shop. It has so much character, and her kitchen is right there on site. The Mill is going to be open for special events beginning in March of 2011. I will definitely keep that in mind when I need a place to host an event because it’s a great setting and having such a great bakery on site would be super helpful.

Right now, SweetArt Bakery is running a special sale – 10 cupcakes for $10 on 10-10-10. My crew was able to sample some of the cupcakes tonight, and let me tell you they are Uh – MAZ – ing!!

I told you we aren’t big cake fans, but Joey went back for seconds . . . I devoured mine . . . and my boys were begging for more. The cake part was moist, fluffy and full of flavor. I can’t imagine how good the spice, strawberry, spice, lemon, dark chocolate, and banana would be.
