This week I was reminded of the great coupons that come from Market Street . . . and I couldn't believe I hadn't posted about them before. But I can't find a post so here it is. If you live anywhere near a Market Street  you need to go sign up for their Rewards Program .  Once you are signed up, you will begin to receive weekly coupons in the mail. I don't mean the typical $.25 off or $1 off, but really good FREE coupons and deep, deep discounts on necessary items like milk and eggs. In addition you can select digital coupons which are linked to your rewards card and automatically apply at checkout. Or if you're more of a traditionalist you can select and print coupons from the Market Street site as well. Last weekend was quite the weekend around our household. Not only was it July 4, but we celebrated the 7th birthday of our middle boy. The “deal” you get is great product, great quality and great service. But if you purchase today’s deal, you can get all of that at half price!! Good at ANY Whole Foods.

Get your choice of samples – either Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereal or Kashi Peanut Dark Chocolate layered granola bar . Love these kinds of things. I throw them in our snack bowl and its great they are individually packaged already for snacks or lunches.

  Don’t forget, today is the day that Whole Foods is running a special on organic cantaloupe – get one for just $1.50! This sale will only run through the end of the day today - Friday, August 19th. If you get caught up and buy a bunch of other items from Whole Foods that aren’t on sale, this will not end up being much of a “deal.”  But if you’re disciplined enough to walk in , get your cantaloupe and get out .  . . you’ll get a great price on some cantaloupes.

These Lunchables without drinks are on sale this week at Kroger for just $1 each. There are reports that when you buy four Lunchables, a coupon prints out for $1.50 off six Lunchables.   For one day only, Whole Foods is running a special on organic cantaloupe – get one for just $1.50! This sale begins and ends on Friday, August 19th. On the whole, Whole Foods is not the place to shop if you are looking for a bargain. However, they offer “Loss Leaders” (items that they sell so cheap they lose money on them just to get you in the door) just like other stores, so if you have enough self-control to go in and only buy these items you can get cheap deals even at Whole Foods!
