I have been so busy lately that shopping - let alone consignment sale shopping - has just not been on my radar. But the one sale I am making time for is the Just Between Friends - Ft. Worth sale. It's Texas' largest consignment and maternity sale held in the Will Rogers' Memorial Center  - Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall. This year's sale will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 through Saturday, September 13, 2015, so there's plenty of time to schedule a shopping trip (or two)! I love consignment sales. There's just something about not wasting items and getting incredible deals and finding new things. Thursday, April 4 the JBF McKinney sale opens up to the public. I was able to go shop at the pre-pre-pre-pre-sale at the JBF Mckinney/Allen Consignment Sale this week. Ha! It's like a kid in a candy shop. I loved every minute of it. (If you missed my tips for shopping consignment , check it out before you go.) This sale is the biggest sale JBF Mckinney/Allen has ever had. In fact, they've grown so big that next year they're moving to a new location. I found some amazing deals - DVDs for a $1, belts, socks, underwear, and black shoes (5 pairs, I think!) It was fun just to walk through and see everything that was available. Here's a little of what you will see . . . There are shoes literally stacked on top of each other. I found brand new Stride Rites for $8. Some great play shoes with lots of wear left for just $3. Games - board games, video games, toys, puzzles, books.   $12 for $25 at Once Upon a Child McKinney I LOVE Once Upon a Child . The only problem I have once I get in there is deciding what I am actually going to buy because there are so many great items. The best way to use these certificates is to wait and combine them with a sale . Unlike most companies who do the daily deals , Once Upon a Child allows you to use these with any other promotion they are running. Last time, I waited until they had 70% off redline items and I RAKED it in.

  Lil-Lambs Consignment Sale is half-price today! Yesterday when I worked there was a TON of good stuff left at great prices even before the half-price discount. I saw a size 7 pair of Gap jeans for boys – the trendy ones with the holes in them but backed with more jean material behind the holes – in like new condition for $4! On the same rounder there was a great plaid shirt – kind of the Van, Tony Hawk, Quiksilver look – possibly had never been worn $3. Seriously some awesome deals .   Divine Consign – the enormous consignment sale held at the Plano Center (75/Central) – is having their 75% off sale today from 8 a.m. to noon. They are the only consignment sale that I go to that does this additional discount and it’s one of my favorite times to shop. All you need to know is Everything that says "Discount: Yes" AND has an "X" in the bottom right corner of the tag will be 75% off on Tuesday. Come check it out and scoop up those last few great bargains. See you there!

Don’t forget to run over to Rhea Lana’s in Frisco today or tomorrow – they have a ton of My Vintage Baby clothing and boutique clothing for around $10 each piece. I shopped yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of stuff available, even the items that seem to be in short supply at many consignment sales. There were large sizes in both girls and boys – even a couple of rounders full of size 5 for boys and size 4 for girls. They had clothes all the way up to junior sizes. I was telling you the other day about how we were entering clothes to be sold at Rhea Lana’s in Frisco (there is another sale later on in SW Dallas, too). Well, we went last night to drop off our items, and I have to tell you, they probably weren’t halfway done with having people drop items off and there was an unbelievable amount of stuff. Plus, in all seriousness, they had more cute, chic, fashion savvy clothing than any consignment sale I’ve ever been too.   Can you believe you can get boutique quality items from places like My Vintage Baby for $8 – $10 ?? They had bouncy seats for $10, and swings starting at about $12. Honestly, CRAZY prices. I am going to shop early tomorrow because I consigned and we volunteered to help behind the scenes a bit too. I told ya’ll this morning that I would be working hard at registering items for consignment this week. Every year I earn more than a thousand dollars just by consigning the extra clothes and toys we have around our house. This year we’ll be expanding to include items that have been left over from our Clean It Out sales, as well. This is an easy thing that ANYONE can do to save/make money. Let’s use the upcoming Rhea Lana sale in SW DFW as an example. #1 - Registration is open right now.
