  This is my receipt from my CVS run today! I had to tear iti n three parts so I could get it all in one picture. Normally, I stay up the night before Thanksgiving until midnight and then hit a 24-hour CVS to get all the deals . But somehow this year I got confused and forgot I was supposed to go BEFORE Thanksgiving, instead I thought the sale started tonight at midnight. When I realized I was wrong, I quickly gathered all my resources and headed out the door. There was quite an impressive list of FREE or at least under $1 items available at CVS . Interestingly enough, almost 24 hours after the sale started most of the items were still available in abundance. Out of the whole list I think there might have been 4 or 5 I was unable to get tonight. The only problem is that now I have over $100 in Extra Care Bucks that I have to spend wisely or figure out how to roll over and over. But seriously? How could anyone complain about being able to get over $100 in merchandise AN...

  I’ve never been a “ money trasher ” – in fact I’m not sure I’ve ever even let a CVS   Extracare buck expire! (But probably I have with all the having babies, being sick, etc. that’s gone on in the last five or six years.) But if you can promise not to throw your CVS   Extracare Bucks away in the future, they will give you a $2 ECB for FREE ! The website is sticking a bit. Different CVS stores have different items left but I was able to take advantage of the 75% off summer clearance sale yesterday. My favorite purchase was a bag of Kingsford charcoal for $1.62. (There were also $1 off coupons not too long ago that would make that deal even better.) And name brand lighter fluid for $1.30. I'll probably hit a few more local CVS stores this weekend to see what else I can find. Hopefully the remainder of things will go 90% off soon!

I mentioned that charcoal was 50% off at CVS due to summer clearance in my post earlier, but I just came across this $1/1 Kingsford charcoal coupon while I was working on my computer. You should be able to print two of these and I would just put them somewhere easy to remember and find, so you’ll have them when you come across charcoal on clearance . This time of year, I always try to stock up but we still seem to run out before it goes on sale again. Guess it goes to show you can’t ever be TOO prepared.

With my crazy week I haven’t been able to get by and confirm, but some are reporting 75% off not just CVS brand diapers and wipes, but even Pampers diapers! I know last week when I was in CVS the Essential Basics brand was clearanced to about 50%, so some of our local CVS stores should have this deal soon if not now. Thanks My Litter!

Summer Clearance is starting in many local stores. This is a great time to pick up lawn furniture, swimming accessories, coolers, and more: Target ’s summer stuff is or should be 75% off at your local store. CVS summer stuff was down to 25% off the last time I saw it, but stores clearance at different times so your store may be at a different percentage. Kroger has their lawn furniture and summer items at 50% off this week. I would guess they would go 75% soon because they’ve been at 50% for almost an entire week now.
