Undercover Mama
You may have noticed that this is breastfeeding month. If you read many blogs, you probably have heard it mentioned.
My ears have perked each time it has come up because that’s right where I’m at. My little boy turned four months old today and we are about to reach the end of the days where his sole sustenance comes from me. That makes me a little bit sad.
But I know my breastfeeding days are not nearly over, and because I find myself nursing in restaurants, stores, parks, I have been looking for ways to make it easier on me and the baby.
When I was introduced to Undercover Mama, I knew I had found something that would work for me.
One of the things I despise about nursing in public is trying to juggle baby, cover, shirt, and bra all while trying desperately not to flash somebody. (I don’t care so much, but I know most of you don’t want to be flashed.) For the most part it goes well, but frequently I find the cover isn’t large enough to cover all of the important stuff – usually it’s my side and my belly that don’t get fully hidden. And, they’re not cute right now. Not cute at all.
But Undercover Mama solves that problem. The shirts are made just like tank tops, except in the place of straps they clip on to your bra. They slide on similar to the way convertible bra straps attach. Then when you pull down the bra to nurse, the shirt comes with it.
I use my Undercover Mama shirt all the time. I’ll use it when I’m no longer pregnant because it is the perfect layering tank. It’s super soft, extra long and wears well.
You can purchase the Undercover Mama shirt in four different colors for $20 each plus $5 shipping per shirt.
Or you can win one!

I like that this is a company that wants to make it easier for moms to nurse! We need more people and companies to do that!
ReplyDeleteI'm a public follower and I love the generous length of the undercover mama! I don't buy "nursing tops" and hate when my baby belly shows while I nurse!

I like the fact that it hooks to your nursing bra, and that it covers your sides when your feeding. Those drafts are chilly sometimes ;)

I'm in love with this shirt already! I really love that it attaches to your nursing bra as nursing tanks don't work for me and my chest size.
