Giveaway: Sunglasses!

I don’t know if your family is like my family, but we can not keep track of our sunglasses. It always amazes me when one of my friends mentions that they paid an ungodly amount of money for sunglasses because that would be like trying to balance a $100 bill on my shoulder in a hurricane. It’s a recipe for disaster. I set my glasses down. I throw them in my purse and they get scratched. My boys borrow them to play with and break them. My mom steals mine. I steal them back. She steals them again. (I promise this goes on over and over.)

But, now, I think I have found the perfect solution – Sunglass Warehouse. Sunglass Warehouse sells nice sunglasses for decent prices. So if you lose them, scratch them, or break them, it’s no great loss. You just order another pair.

This time around I decided I would let Joey pick a pair of sunglasses and try them out. He tends to use his safety glasses from work – which sort of look like little kids wrap around sunglasses – and I thought it would be good for him to have a nice pair. The first thing we both noticed when they came in the mail is the weight of them. They don’t feel as if they are going to get crushed if you hold on to them too tightly. I love the way they look on Joey. The only complaint he had was that they didn’t block the light from the sides. I told him most sunglasses don’t; he’s just used to the silly safety glasses. However, if that truly does bug him, Sunglass Warehouse has plenty of glasses that would cover more of the sides.
