GIVEAWAY: Practical Designs’ Shopping Cart Covers
With my first two boys we used a couple of different shopping cart/restaurant high chair covers – one was handmade by a family member and the other was store bought. Neither worked well. Maybe my ability to juggle baby, cover and seat is lacking, but I was never successful at getting the seat on, the baby in and everyone settled without something going wrong. Then the handmade one practically shredded in the washing machine and the store bought ended up sold in a consignment sale.
So, I knew that we would be starting over with Weston and I really wanted one that had elastic all the way around so it fit whatever seat you put it on and had its own belt so that you don’t have to run the yucky one from the cart or high chair through the seat and around the baby.
At Practical Designs I found the perfect solution. There is a reason that this shop has 100% positive feedback after over 100 reviews. Practical Designs sent me the Retro Dot Cover, seen below.
As you can tell from this picture, the workmanship is top notch. The leg holes are reinforced with binding material and extra stitching to make sure they are comfortable and durable. The seat comes with its own belt and latch so that the only germs your baby comes in contact with are his own. It also has a pillow that is securely attached and will allow you to attach some extra toys as well.
For the same price I paid for the last store bought, mass produced and inefficient cover, you can have your choice of material (even using your own special material if you like) and be comfortable knowing that this cover will work well and be quite durable.
To purchase your own cover, you can visit Practical Designs on Etsy. (For those of you with more than one little one, they also sell double covers!)
Practical Designs is sponsoring a giveaway of one diaper clutch – the perfect way to stash a couple of diapers and some wipes in your purse or the other car.
