Early Christmas Gift Guide Item #1: Win a Sol Deck Wireless Speaker

Image
Can you believe it's almost that time? Christmas is coming . . . it will zoom up on us in no time at all. So I've started picking up Christmas presents here and there when I can find a good deal. One of the items on my list is a high quality wireless speaker. I was given the chance to try out the Sol Deck Wireless Speaker, and it has completely won me over. When I'm cleaning, I love to turn up the music and jam. We live in a two story house and my boys want to hear the music upstairs just like we do downstairs . . . the Sol Deck has allowed us to do just that. It's great. You can use your blue tooth to sync your phone or iPod and play music throughout the house. The deck will sync with any device within about 300 feet. In fact, it will sync with multiple devices and you can take turns choosing the music or hijacking the stream from a friend and playing your favorite song instead. I'm serious . . . we LOVE it . . . and it would make an amazing gift for t

So this year I am starting early . . . for me, at least. Family Movies at Studio Movie Grill

Image
Now that my boys are a little bit older, one of our favorite things to do all together is to go to the movies. Granted my youngest one enjoys the popcorn as much or more than the movie, but still it's a great family outing. Recently we've visited the Studio Movie Grill twice - once to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the other time to see Earth to Echo. We even got adventurous and went to two different Studio Movie Grill locations. For TMNT we went to the Spring Valley location in Richardson. That's where I grew up and before it was a Studio Movie Grill that's actually the theater I saw my first movie EVER in! LOL They've done a good job of converting the theater over and it is equipped with a full bar and restaurant. If you remember the old days of Studio Movie Grill , you'll note that the swiveling office chairs and countertop tables are long gone. Instead, they've been replaced with plush theater seats with small table tray that can be moved o

FREE Items with Coupons at #MarketStreetTX

This week I was reminded of the great coupons that come from Market Street . . . and I couldn't believe I hadn't posted about them before. But I can't find a post so here it is. If you live anywhere near a Market Street  you need to go sign up for their Rewards Program .  Once you are signed up, you will begin to receive weekly coupons in the mail. I don't mean the typical $.25 off or $1 off, but really good FREE coupons and deep, deep discounts on necessary items like milk and eggs. In addition you can select digital coupons which are linked to your rewards card and automatically apply at checkout. Or if you're more of a traditionalist you can select and print coupons from the Market Street site as well. Coming up later this month, you'll hear about some more new and exciting perks linked to the Market Street Rewards program as well right here on the MelissaStuff Blog. As a Market Street blogger I have an ongoing relationship with Market Street and
