An Easier Way to Preserve Your Family Memories

Image
I'm a scrapbooker - I spend hundreds of dollars and days (probably weeks) every year to preserve those family memories. I enjoy the process and it's a hobby I don't plan on giving up, but sometimes I with there was an easier, quicker and cheaper way to get those pictures put together in a way that I can share with other people. As it is, I scrapbook about four YEARS behind. This week I was offered the chance to use the new Collage.com one-click photo book. You select the photos you want to use - from Facebook, Instagram, Flickr, or your computer and it instantly populates into a clean, professional layout that you can change and update further if you want. Use this link to get 51% off an 11.5 x 8.5 hardcover book - click once and pay just $25 to have an entire album ready to go. I'm going to try it out and let you know how easy the process is and how the end product turns out . . .

My Favorite Swimsuits and Sunguards Are On Sale for 60% Off!!

Image
With all the boys in my house, we're rough on swimsuits . . . and I'm not a huge fan of the typical character suits. With sadness this week, I had to put my absolute favorite swimsuit (with matching sun guard) in my consignment pile. It's a 3T and my littlest one is wearing 5s now. I just couldn't stretch it to make it work any further. You can imagine how excited I was to find that the site they were purchased from - Cabana Life - which can be pretty expensive was having a 60% off sale with the code LDAY15 ! Hurry, it's ending soon but the suits are fun, bright and well made especially if you have fair-skinned littles. They also have girls, women's, coverups and more. Note shipping is $9.95 so not cheap but still a good value for what you are getting - and the code isn't good on items already on sale. Enjoy! Can't wait to see what you get.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Contest!

Image
With six boys ranging in age from 4 to 32 in our household, we are always looking for adventures that will fascinate them and not drain us financially. This past Christmas we invested in a season pass to Six Flags . #1 - it was a Christmas present and #2 - we have well used those passes already. We've been to Holiday in the Park, visited the park during it's special early open days in April and stopped in after a Ranger game to ride our favorite rides. In between those visits, we've managed to sneak in another handful of visits most of which have avoided the long, hot days of sumer when the waits can be at their longest. I would highly recommend this if you live close to a Six Flags theme park . But what do you do when it's so hot that walking outside makes you feel as if you're melting and yet the rowdiness contained within your walls makes you feel as if you're in danger of losing your mind? Well, visit Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park , of course!

Healthy Cotton Candy!

Image
If you haven't tried these new Cotton Candy Grapes - you need to. It's a special new variety that truly tastes like cotton candy. They're plump, juicy and sweet . . . but still healthy fruit that are good for your kids. Instead of the sticky fingers and sugary granules that usually accompany the traditional sweet treat, you will be left with all of the taste and none of the regrets. Market Street is getting a shipment of these grapes in this week. They sell out quickly but are replenished regularly until the beginning of September so jump on this opportunity and try this special kind of healthy treat.
