Great Read - Fun Christmas Gift

I might have mentioned a time or two that my favorite author is Ted Dekker. He writes books in a variety of genres, but his latest is a fantasy reminiscent of C.S. Lewis’ Narnia series.

Forbidden (The Books of Mortals)

Written in conjunction with Tosca Lee, Forbidden is written in a world where emotions no longer survive. All that is left is fear . . . “love” has become duty and imperfections are immediately remedied by death.

But hidden away is a vial of blood that can return full emotions to those that drink it. Five people drink and it changes their lives and the lives of everyone in their world forever.

I would encourage you to purchase this book as a gift for anyone who enjoys reading, especially if they are fans of fantasy. It was a great read and I can’t wait until the second book in this Book of the Mortals series comes out!
