Best Way to Digitize Old Photos and Videos

Someone asked me the other day about the best way to convert old pictures and videos to digital format. If you have ever been into photography or home movies, you probably have the same issue.

There are several options – for old photos that no longer have film negatives, you can actually take them to Target and/or Walmart where you can set them in a scanner by the stack and it will scan them all into the computer and burn them to a disc. This is fairly inexpensive method, but also not so polished. You definitely may have some marks, dust spots, etc. or a picture or two may get scanned slightly crooked, the color isn’t always great . . . you get the idea.
