Our household had the opportunity to test FRESCHETTA® By the Slice pizza. Unfortunately, I am not eating carbs or sugar so I wasn't able to taste it. But my husband was excited that for once he got to review an item for MelissaStuff.

I bought my slice at Target. The regular price for one of these slices is $1.99. That's not a bad price at all considering the cheap {nasty, in my opinion} pizzas are usually between $1 and $2. 

There were three flavors to choose from at our Target -

* BBQ Recipe Chicken
* Vegetable Medley
* Six Cheese Medley  
(They also have Chicken, Spinach & Mushroom, but it wasn't available where I was shopping.)
 

None of those is my husband's favorite, but out of them I chose the BBQ chicken assuming it would be the most hearty choice.

It pops in the microwave and is done in just a couple of minutes. It smelled great and my hubbie didn't even bother to pull out a plate. He just dove in and devoured it within a few minutes while standing at the counter.

He thought it was delectable, even if it wasn't his favorite choice of flavors. Having one piece instead of an entire pizza makes portion control easier . . . and eliminates waste.
