With my first two boys we used a couple of different shopping cart/restaurant high chair covers – one was handmade by a family member and the other was store bought. Neither worked well. Maybe my ability to juggle baby, cover and seat is lacking, but I was never successful at getting the seat on, the baby in and everyone settled without something going wrong. Then the handmade one practically shredded in the washing machine and the store bought ended up sold in a consignment sale. So, I knew that we would be starting over with Weston and I really wanted one that had elastic all the way around so it fit whatever seat you put it on and had its own belt so that you don’t have to run the yucky one from the cart or high chair through the seat and around the baby.
