    I tried to do that today and it wouldn't work. They weren't able to scan my BOGO coupon. They even tried manually reducing it and it just wouldn't come off. They said it had something to do with the fact that it was a gift card promotion. I was disappointed. But the rest of the transaction was great - I got Tide stain release for $0.25

    That's not normal. Target always allows coupons PLUS the gift card promotion. I've made money many times.

    Sometimes the computer systems act crazy at Target and the cashiers don't normally know how the coupons are supposed to work.

    Sorry, it didn't work for you this time. But good job on the Tide.
