Coming Home pics . . . in honor of Memorial Day!

In our family, Memorial Day always strikes a somber note. We haven't forgotten - in all of the festivities and cookouts and swimming - that the holiday is meant to honor those that have offered their lives for our freedom. Because we have family that is active duty military and has now served multiple tours of duty overseas, we know what it means to worry, to hope and to pray that your loved one "comes home". That often looks different for different families, but we would like to honor all of them this week.

With my first two boys we used a couple of different shopping cart/restaurant high chair covers – one was handmade by a family member and the other was store bought. Neither worked well. Maybe my ability to juggle baby, cover and seat is lacking, but I was never successful at getting the seat on, the baby in and everyone settled without something going wrong.
