Today is . . . MegaSwagbucks Day!

Okay, so I'm going to remind everyone again that today is MegaSwagbucks Day! That means that you could earn 5, 20, even 100 Swagbucks for one search.

I apparently have not done a sufficient job explaining this because even some of you who had signed up didn't understand the concept . . . so I'm going to try again.

1. You go to Swagbucks and register.
2. Install the Swagbucks toolbar so that it is always at the top of your screen when you need to search the Internet for something.
3. If you want, you can even reset your home page to the Swagbucks page. You can run searches from here or find out when there is a new code somewhere.
4. Check the widget (the box) at the bottom of my blog page periodically. Click on the SC to see if there is a new Swagbuck Code out. It will tell you and either give it to you or tell you how to find it.
5. Recruit others to use Swagbucks to do their Internet searching. You will get a Swagbuck for every Swagbuck they earn searchin up to the first 100.
6. Let the points add up and then redeem them for gift cards. I have about 200 Swagbucks now and it only takes 45 to get a $5 gift card to Amazon.

I promise you out of all of the "programs" you can register for and earn stuff with on the Internet, this is probably the one I think is the most worth it simply because you already search for stuff. You aren't settling for a secondrate search engine either because Swagbucks uses Google and Ask to do it's searching!

Let me know how it goes for you. I know my dad and Cheryl S. have already gotten quite a few Swagbucks and neither one of them is doing anything extra beyond what they would normally do on the Internet.

Not too long ago, I told you about my experience with Tropical Traditions organic coconut oil . Tropical Traditions was gracious enough to giveaway a bottle of that oil to one of the MelissaStuff readers. Recently, they offered to send me their palm shortening to try out. Organic Detergent? {Giveaway}

So technically, I don’t think this detergent is actually organic, but it is non-toxic and environmentally safe. Can you say that for your detergent? This product was a surprise to me. I’m not picky about my detergent, but the only thing I do care about is how my detergent smells. Before I used Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent I was concerned that it would have a chemical smell or worse the clothes would end up not smelling clean. {EXPIRED} Giveaway: Make Your Own Soda (Cokes!)

I have to admit that this review was one of the most FUN items we’ve done so far. My husband was actually more excited about trying it out than I was. Sodastream has an entire line of machines that allow you to make your own soda -  pop, cokes, whatever you make call it - at home. The process is super simple. We reviewed the Jet. It came in a large box. We took all of the pieces out and were able to start making drinks without washing or assembling anything. (We did rinse out the bottle just because I’m a nut like that.) There are two clear bottles to mix the drinks in, an O2 cylinder and the actual machine. You pop the O2 cylinder into the back of the machine. Then fill up one of the bottles with water to the fill line marked on the bottle. You push back on the button at the top of the front of the Sodastream machine which rocks out the Piece that the bottle screws on to.
