As most of you know, I am new to the world of blogging – for anything besides anonymously processing life. (Guess it’s not so anonymous anymore.) But, to the point, I am excited to announce that I was accepted to participate in the bi-annual Blogmania for this upcoming September. I’m still learning all the ins and outs, but basically for two days in September I won’t post anything but information about Blogmania. Over one hundred blogs will be linking together to offer you amazing giveaways – everything will be worth more than $100 - and crazy fun!
I am currently debating between two themes – “All the Men in My Life” and “There’s a Party in My Tummy – Yummy, Yummy!” . . . so tell me which one you would like to see AND please suggest some items you think would be great giveaways to go with those themes.
I will choose one comment randomly and award them a $5 Amazon gift card. I’ll leave the comments open until this Friday night, July 2nd.

    I think "All the Men in My Life" is better as I, too, was selected for Blogmania and I seem to recall someone doing a party theme but do not recall a guy only theme.

    Shaving supplies, cologne, aftershave, toy vehicles, gift certificates for a guys night out, electronic gadgets, electronic games, t-shirts, sports equipment, BBQ supplies, yard work supplies, sports memorabilia, and the list could go on and on.

    I love your Header with Scripture! I'm a Christian too! :) I like both theme choices. All the Men in My Life...you could give away something from each age group of the 'men in your life'! :) What are some of the things they enjoy? What about some great educational ways for kids to learn? Any items in mind for that? I'm not really sure just tring to help. LOL

    For the guy in your life, I was thinking about electric razors or something and anything electronic...WII sports games maybe. Home Depot gift card...guys like that place. :) Me? Can't stand that place. haha

    lets see.. my husband's favorite stuff would be gadgets and tools. best buy and home depot are his favorite stores. oh and sneakers! he loves jordans.. footlocker is another fav.

    Anything related to hygiene like a package of shaving gel, deodorant, etc. B also loves anything sports related, so maybe an experience like a tour of Cowboys' stadium, a free golf game, a Mavs or Cowboys jersey, etc.

    For the young men, toys, books, free lessons of some sort, etc.

    Oh, and we're in the market for a new tent, fishing poles and sleeping bags (kids and adults), so a giveaway related to that would be fun. It is something our boys love to do together.

    Awesome theme! And there are so many options, from clothing places, to stores with tools, or tool companies, fishing, hunting, camping equipment, sports items, and definitely for the younger men, or babies, lol, even more awesome choices! Toy stores, clothing stores, electronics, etc.

    For the guys in my life I would love to see a charger, maybe universal for phone, etc. And things to eat. My guys love to eat... snacks, sweets, well, anything!

    For the men I would say anything Lowes, Home Depo, Sears, Walmart, tools, fishing gear, hunting gear, wii games, camping supplies, or being in Sept., fall and winter clothes. For boys I think (learning) games, anything wii, clothes, gift cards, learning toys and books. For babies anything safe, warm, easly for moms, cloth diapers,foods, learning items, and bedding.

Not too long ago, I told you about my experience with Tropical Traditions organic coconut oil . Tropical Traditions was gracious enough to giveaway a bottle of that oil to one of the MelissaStuff readers. Recently, they offered to send me their palm shortening to try out. Organic Detergent? {Giveaway}

So technically, I don’t think this detergent is actually organic, but it is non-toxic and environmentally safe. Can you say that for your detergent? This product was a surprise to me. I’m not picky about my detergent, but the only thing I do care about is how my detergent smells. Before I used Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent I was concerned that it would have a chemical smell or worse the clothes would end up not smelling clean. But it smells GREAT without having any specific scent to it . . . it just smells clean . {EXPIRED} Giveaway: Make Your Own Soda (Cokes!)

I have to admit that this review was one of the most FUN items we’ve done so far. My husband was actually more excited about trying it out than I was. Sodastream has an entire line of machines that allow you to make your own soda -  pop, cokes, whatever you make call it - at home. The process is super simple. We reviewed the Jet. It came in a large box. We took all of the pieces out and were able to start making drinks without washing or assembling anything. (We did rinse out the bottle just because I’m a nut like that.) There are two clear bottles to mix the drinks in, an O2 cylinder and the actual machine. You pop the O2 cylinder into the back of the machine. Then fill up one of the bottles with water to the fill line marked on the bottle. You push back on the button at the top of the front of the Sodastream machine which rocks out the Piece that the bottle screws on to.
